Invitation to Visit Mettupalayam

Created for Lower Key Stage 2, Years 3 and 4, this Photo Activity Pack invites children to visit (through imagery and activity) a small village in southern India. Using photographs taken in Mettupalayam, a real village in India, 90km to the SW of Chennai (previously known as Madras) they stay with two local children, who share their lives, introducing the people and locality.
The Pack contains 30 laminated A4 sheets with photos and 45 pages of detailed teachers notes, lesson plans, suggested activities and photocopiable materials.
