Take your class back to the time of The Blitz in Aldwych Underground Station, in the City of Westminster and near Covent Gardent, in 1941 with this fascinating backdrop scene, ideal for role play. During the Second World War, hundreds of Londoners sought refuge from the air raids in tube stations. Interestingly, this station is now closed but remains as a Grade II listed building due to its historical significance. Disused parts of the station and tunnels were used during both world wars to protect artworks from London's galleries and museums from bomb damage.
Printed on heavy weight vinyl can be easily rolled for storage, the backdrop has 8 brass eyelets for hanging from the wall or ceiling.
